Any one got Tier 1 (General) extension for more than 3 years

Post by tamil_kumaran » Fri Feb 20, 2009 3:42 pm

Hi,

Did any one get Tier 1 (General) extension for more than 3 years in cases where you entered UK for example say after 4 months after you got your initial HSMP visa.

I came accross one such case at the following link:

So i wanted to know more on this as this will cover up the proplem while applying for Indefinate Leave to Remain for which a person should have leaved for 5 years from the day of arrival in UK.

Yes I would like to know the same - can we be given an extension greather than 3 years? (when not under the HSMP Pty Ltd Judicial Review allowance)

to answer my own question after all these years - yes! You can request a slightly longer Tier 1 so that you can comfortably apply for ILR. Also remembering that you can apply for ILR 28 days before your 5 years are up so this gives you even more flexibility.
