Experts, may please advise.

Do we require name change affidavit for applying surrender certificate if name changed from maiden name (in Indian Passport) to married surname in UK passport?

Not an expert, but believe it is not required as Surrender certificate for indian certificate will have the same name (maiden )as on indian passport unless of course you use misc. services for name change on indian passport.

You are absolutely right there nnj10. VFS replied the same but requested to attach marriage certificate.
