SOC code

Post by vinodt1347 » Fri Apr 19, 2013 5:14 pm

Hi,

I currently have a Tier 2 ICT permit. I had come into the UK in April 2008. I would like to apply for ILR. One of the documents asked for is a letter from the employer stating the SOC code, salary etc.
There has been a recent change in SOC codes and I wanted to check if the letter should use the old SOC code or a new one and if CoS needs to be updated.

Thanks.

The old one is 2131 the equivalent per ukba is 2139 but description wise its probably 2135.
I called up ukba and they asked to put both codes in the letter. My company is ok with putting the old one in the letter .I know one of the guys in my company has used such a format with old soc code and his ILR was approved. I guess this is ok?
