i am in uk since april2012 . my college revoked and is not on tier 4 list . do i need to wait for ukba to write to me about curtailment or i need to contact them ?
my visa till jan 2014.

You 1st need to inquire from the college administration that whether they have already appeal for the reinstatement of the licence.

college admin says they applied for it . but almost 4 months now. i dont have enough funds for new sponsor . if my leave get curtailed i may leave within 60 days . but not sure can i wait till i receive letter fro ukba .i dont want to be overstayed . may plan to come back after some time from home country . but can i stay now?

I think you need to inquire from UKBA directly too in that case because 4 months have already passed with no licence recovery.

did cal them . they suggested to send fax with details about my issues . did so now received curtailment letter copy send on college address to leave country by 30 dec 2012 . i updated my current adress to ukba in may 2012 i have proof of posting but still this letter was not send to me .can i request to ukba for extension on curtailment now .

I do not think so that it can be extended and it is also showing the lack of contact between the institute and student too.

i would like to inform that i am just asking advice for my friend ....(above situation) ...now he planning to go back home country ....but one immigration adviser suggested him to request UKBA to extend curtailment on the basis that he had not got appealing opportunity or new application to change sponsor . is this possible ...?

And that immigration adviser actually wiped-off all your friend's savings. Its better to go home on time and apply from there.

Since your college is no more on the list you need to apply for a new visa application even when you have visa till the next year.You have a limit of 3 months to do that.

Hi,
60 days after you receive letter from the home office.if you do not after 90 days you have to make a fresh application.if your backup is older than 3 months.
