How to calculate absenteeism?

Post by narendc » Sun Apr 28, 2013 7:52 pm

Greetings,
My sincere apologies if this question has been answered elsewhere. I honestly tried to search on this site but failed to find exact post. Please enlighten my ignorance if you know any posts already answered to my question (according to the new rules since 6th April 2013).

I would like to know how UKBA calculate absenteeism. I compiled all my dates of arrival and departure from my passport since I first came to the UK.
I don't see UKBA stamping the date when leaving the country. It is always the Arrival stamp! Now, how do they do it? I need to know how they calculate absenteeism with the dates on our passport? Appreciate your help in advance.

Cheers

UKBA dont stamp passport while departing but the country you are visiting must have stamped your passport on arrival, make a note of all those dates along with UKBAs stamp when entering UK

Thanks for your reply.

Is this the way they calculate absenteeism based on other country's stamps? Very weird!

Some countries don't stamp anything on arrival, especially for their own citizens.

sorry misread your question, the entry exit stamps is only for your info.

UKBA gets immigrants' entry/exit info through APIS
