Application withdrawal/emergency travel

Hi ,
I am about to apply for Tier 1 extension through Post , but don't know the delays regarding decision. PEO appts not able to get till now

In that case
- Procedure for withdrawal about application?
- If emergency travel is involved , any temporary passport can be issued by the embassy (read India) ?

nowadays the processing time is reduced to few weeks from the usual few months seen till last year.
You need to request to UKBA for withdrawing application. There will be no refund of the fee.
Indian Embassy will not issue emergency travel certificate unless you lost /damaged your passport (need Crime ref number for lost cases)
