Cover Letter

Post by Staticcat » Thu Mar 08, 2007 8:03 pm

When applying for this what form does the cover letter take?
What points should be made or details given?
Who should it be addressed to?
Do you have any examples?

Any help would be appreciated

Hi,

It's not clear about what you are going to apply...but if it is a fresh HSMP application then this is an idea as to what the cover letter should have. Hope this helps.

Is the cover letter a compulsory requirement?
Would a case officer decline an application for not having a covering letter?

No covering letter is not a requirement, but it helps the case worker to understand
(1) your application
(2) dependents
(3) previous earnings
(4) other proofs attached.

if u read the guidance notes it says to have a cover letter for EC.

Britishers are very methodical people. They don't like people who break the process(or queue).
