OCI - Question 16 Query

Dear Members,

I am applying for OCI along with my wife and minor child.

What should I answer for
Question 16: Does the country of applicatiants permit dual citizenship in some form or other?

I am enclosing following supporting documents.

1. British Passport copies
2. Naturalization copy
3. Surrender copy
4. Revoked Indian Passport copies (all pages)
5. Marriage certificate
6. Photographs (51x51) (each one)
7. Birth Certifcate
8. ID Card copy (Provisional Driving Licence)

And for my minor child

1. British Passport copies
2. Naturalization copy
3. PIO card copies
4. Birth Certificate (Both long and short)

Along with Online application Part A and Part B and fee of 175*2= (350+94 for minor child) = 444 Pounds.

Apart from the following documents any other documents are required? My child didn't have any Indian passport so no surrender certificate.
Do I need to submit my parents documents any ?

Your documents are fine.

I wouldn't use the below documents as they are not required or covered by other documents.

Revoked indian passport copies - surrender certificate is sufficient
Birth Certificate
ID - provisional DL
Marriage certificate - not strictly required if you and spouse both applying in person, if you are submitting a family application for everyone, then required
Parents documents - not required

also see HCI London - OCI - it clearly lists mandatory and additional documents.

Hi Ban,
To check online status of OCI application whicH passport number we need along with application number.
Indian or British passport number?
