Maintanance of Funds for Dependent

Hi,

I am applying shortly for my tier 1 gen extension and my mrs will apply as PBS dependent with me. I have sufficient amount to fulfill the maintenance criteria, but my question is, does it have to be My Mrs's own account to show her funds, or should my bank statement be sufficient, which does have the required amount.
