Tier 2 Licence Expiry

Post by Freeman78 » Tue May 07, 2013 1:07 pm

Dear All ( Asking this on behalf of a friend)

My employer tier 2 licence is going to expiry on the 1st of June 2013. They have written to all Tier 2 based staff confirming that they are not going to renew their licence and everyone should make alternative arrangements.

However i am completing my five years employment on Tier 2 in 1st week of November and eligible to apply for ILR in september (28days). ( Visa valid till 20th November).

My question is.

1) Can i legally work with the same employer after 1st of June?
2) Can i apply for ILR in september given that my employer provides me with a letter stating i am still required?
3) Due to my current visa expiring within six months of the licence expiry. is UKBA going to curtail my visa?

Any help will be highly appreciated.
