Congratulations ! I have queries on Previous Earnings

Post by gsurendra » Wed Apr 11, 2007 3:21 am

Congratulations for your success !!

I need some clarifications about the Previous earning proofs

Online Payslips

My online payslips have the company name and address on top.
1) Is it required to be printed on Company Letter head or on plain paper?
2) Apart from company stamp and signature, is it required to give the name, designation and contact numbers of the signatory on each payslip? If not, then how and where to give the information, as I understand it is required.
3) Is it required to give a seperate letter from the employer? Should it contain the detailed breakup of the salary?
4) Any other information which is considered relevant by you.

Thanks in advance

It need not be on company letter head. But make sure that company name should exist on the plain paper.

2) Apart from company stamp and signature, is it required to give the name, designation and contact numbers of the signatory on each payslip? If not, then how and where to give the information, as I understand it is required.
Stamp and signature is enough. if you can provide the designation and contact numbers of authorized signatory then it is fine. Even I did not provide the designation of authorized signatory on each salary slip.

What i did was i took a letter from employer (Finance Manager - Who signed my payslips also.) on the company letter head and in the covering letter i mentioned that Mr. XXXXX - Finance manager has signed and stamped all the salary sips.

3) Is it required to give a seperate letter from the employer? Should it contain the detailed breakup of the salary?
Yes it is always better to take letter from employer showing your details salary earnings (Gross and Net earnings) break up for each month.

4) Any other information which is considered relevant by you.
Make sure that your net earnings in the salary slip should match your bank statements. If there is any discrepencey state the same in the letter from your employer.

Letter from Employer

Post by gsurendra » Wed Apr 11, 2007 9:14 am

Thanks for your reply.

Do you think the Letter from the employer should be addressed to the HSMP team directly or can be "TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN". ?

If letter to the HSMP team, then can you give the address etc details? I am asking this because there are some conflicting information about 2 different addresses in the Forum

Is it possible for you to give the Letter format itself?

Hello BACK_TO_GB and niruv,
English Language : Letter from mu uni in uk showing course title & graduation date and also mentions courses taken in english!
Firstly Congratulations BACK_TO_GB. Further to the information given by you regarding the English Language Certificate, do you think they can accept UK University letter as you have done Masters from UK university, but the guidance notes states that it has to be a letter from the institute where you did your bachelors. Please clarify...

Thank you

Hi There,
My HSMP was rejected since "The wage slips supplied by ZZZ Limited were not on employer letter headed paper and they were not stamped or signed by your employer. Therefore these wage slips did not meet the HSMP criteria for original documents and could not be assessed"

What are the information should be in the stamp,
1. Name and address of the company
2. Name and address of the company and designation of the person who is signing the pay slips
3. Name and address of the company , designation of the person who is signing the pay slips and mentioned like "Certified True Copy"

The seal of company should have its name and then get it signed by someone from HR or Finance.

If possible write signing person's name and designation and contact number as well. If that info can not be put on payslip, include it in your cover letter.

Does this letter contains a contact information (I read in the guidelines that a contact information should be put in that letter.
but I contact my univ. they said they can't provide it.
