Hi, Thanks for the help beforehand.

I want to apply general visitor visa for my mother and the biggest problem is SURNAME.

Here is the story of SURNAME.

Our Family Surname is ABCDEFG (NOT REAL THOUGH) .

Mother Passport's got ABCDEFG as surname.

--GOOD TILL HERE.

Problem starts with me.

When studying 10th, I made mistake and added my surname as ABCD due to space constraints on the form and that conituned all my life.

10th, 12th, Engg, HSMP, Tier1 --- MY SURNAME IS ABCD
My passport also got my parent's SURNAME as ABCD

As, I will be supporting financially for my mother's visitor visa.

Question : How do I convey caseworker about the mistake of surname when applying visa ?
Has anybody faced this issue.

Any help much appreciated.
