Work permit in two countries simultaneously - UK rules

Post by marcelo.behr » Thu Apr 12, 2007 10:56 am

Hi all,

I have a work permit to work in Belgium but a new opportunity to work in UK is coming. I know that I won’t have any problem in Belgium if I have a second work permit for another country. I can enter and leave Belgium any time I want with my work and residence permit.

Do you know if I will have any trouble to get an UK WP in this situation (holding a WP for another country)?

Thanks & Kind Regards,
Marcelo

Until I got my British passport, I used to have three work/ residence permits for three different countries.
Did not have any problems, even though once in a while I used to get questioned at passport control as to what kind of work I do and why I had so many work permits.
