existing business visa valid even if EC for hsmp is rejected

hi

does anyone know if you have a existing business visa and for some reason the EC gets rejected then does the existing business visa get rejected too? or you can still travel on that business visa?

seems logical to think that yor existing business visa would still be valid ....the reasons why an ec would be rejected ( insufficient funds to support onself in the UK , etc) wouldnt nessecarily be any cause to disallow you entry as a short term business visitor...
