Hi everyone, here is my dateline:

21/09/12- Applied for ILR under postal SET (O) Self Employed Lawyer category 5 year route
25/09/12- Application receipt acknowledgement letter issued
26/11/12- Biometric enrolment letter issued
29/11/12- Biometric enrolled
09/05/13- ILR Granted (received by me on 13/05/13)
Awaiting for Biometric Card

---------
Just to inform you that under the 'self employed lawyer' category, only 20 applications were made in 2012. It was a concessionary category, which has been closed.

The wait is rather frustrating, especially in the first couple of months, but I guess one has to carry on with life.... I did write to my MP three times and it was acknowledged by him. I also obtained a 'Subject Access Report' from UKBA by paying them £10. This is the file held by Home Office on all the info they hold about you, so its good to have it, to know what they are looking at. Also, it could be handy in case your case is rejected.

Good luck!
Thanks for the update! Could you explain a bit more about how to obtain a "Subject Access Report"? What did you put down as the reason for requesting this information?

Thank you!

Hi,

Biometric Card received on 14/05/2013

Google 'ukba subject access report' and you will get to the correct link. You pay £10 for the service, and receive the report back after about a month. You don't have to give any reason as such, but you can say its for your own records. Its your statutory right.

Hope it helps

Skydrive ILR Excluding 10/14 yrs.

Possibly not, This spread sheet was setup just a week ago and members have strive beyond their limits (Time & Effort) to add details of fellow members and I believe they've only managed to get a few months back. I think its everyone's responsibility to add their own details to get a close analysis [Unless someone is a novice they can always ask for help].
sanks wrote:Good effort collating the spreadsheet. Out of interest, am I the only one still waiting since August 2012? I can only see my application from August. May be UKBA have managed to complete 99.9% applications then. I will be finishing 9 months in a weeks time. Still waiting. Mixed emotions now, mostly disappointed though :(
Hope you got the answer from the above why you are the only applicant from August.

I've used a few members details on it as a sample.

How do I put application timeline on skydrive?

Skydrive for ILR Excluding 10/14 Yrs

Skydrive for FLR(M)

Skydrive for Naturalization

Skydrive for British Passport

1. You need a Skydrive ID (Hotmail/MSN/Existing Email) Click here
2. Click Edit Workbook Menu
3. Select Edit in Excel Web App
4. Just add your details to the bottom of the table
5. Once done Click View and select Reading View.

NB: Do not insert any rows in between as this could affect the graphs to the right. Once you've added your details to the bottom of the table, the table can be sorted by "Application Sent Date" (Column B) Ascending and then by "Passport Returned"(Column G) Ascending.

I have been silently reading all your posts for some time now and decided to share my experience as well.

Application Type: SET (O) - Tier 1 + HSMP
Application Date: 19/Oct/2012
Acknowledgement: 22/Oct/2012
Bio Invitation: 22/Dec/2012 (Unfortunately delayed in post and delivered on 05/Jan/2013)
Bio attended: 05/Jan/2013
My Passport and supporting docs returned on 11/May/2013 with a letter addressing somebody else. Contacted UKBA and came to know that it was sent out mistakenly. UKBA asked me to return the documents which I did so on 13/May/2013.
ILR decision: waiting
Passport and docs returned: waiting
BRP : waiting

Application status: not completed as of 14/May/2013 (which could be that my biometrics not attached with the application... may be UKBA have lost it...)

I have entered my details in spread sheet. This will help others as well.

Application Type: SET (M) BC
Application Date:04/12/2012
Bio Invitation : 04/01/2013
Bio attended : 09/01/2013
Bio Invitation : number 2 - 04/04/2013
Bio attended : number 2 - 10/04/2013
Bio Invitation : number 3 10/04/2013
ILR decision : 07/05/2013
Passport and docs returned: 09/05/2013
BRP : 09/05/2013

I have been a silent reader for a while and i would like to share my experience with the UKBA. I sent my application for ILR on the 04/12/12 with all supporting documents.I enrolled my Bio on 09/01/2013 . I was surprised to then receive a second Bio invitation with different reference number to first invitation and they also implied that i had not responded to the first enrolment and this was all at a time when i was actually expecting my documents back. I called the UKBA and spoke to a very nice lady there and she could not explain why i had a new reference number or a second bio request. she put in a request for a phone call from the caseworker ( which i never got ) i decided to enrol my bio again. After watching the despatch investigation into the UKBA i decided to send a very strong worded complaint letter on the 27/04/2013 both by email and recorded delivery. on the 07/05/13 i got my decision. so my advice is make sure you make a formal complaint! Good luck to everyone else

Application Type: SET (O) 2 Years HSMP under Judicial Review + 3years Tier 1 (General) 1 Main Applicant + 2X Dependents

Application Date: 07/12/2012

Acknowledgement Received: 12/12/2012

Bio Invitation: 15/01/2013

Bio attended: 15/01/2013

ILR decision: Waiting

Passport and Docs returned: Waiting

Anybody from the same dates or have same sort of timeline.....????? More than 5 months now. I thought HSMP judicial review applications might be processed rapidly as we got fewer docs to be observed by UKBA but that I was wrong. Let’s see. Best of Luck to all.

I explained the sequence of events and complained about the poor and confusing service. I also asked for an explanation as to why I had been sent documents with different reference numbers and why an application that the UKBA can process in one day would take so long considering the fees we pay . I made sure they were aware that I sent copy of complaint to my MP..

i have been a very silent member and after 7.5 months wait, finally got some good news. see my timeline below:

Application - Set(o) + 3 dependants Tier 1: 3yrs, HSMP: 2yrs
Application sent: 4/10/12
Aknowledgement letter dated: 11/10/12
BRP letter dated: 10/12/12
BRP letter received: 15/12/12
BRP completed: 18/12/12
BRP card received 17/5/13
ILR Approval letter and documents received - 17/5/13

i waited patiently for 7.5 months in prayer without contacting my MP or making any compliant. All i did was pray and the Lord answered at the appointed time.

thanks to all for all your advice, i can start to live life as normal from now. Thank you Lord.

I applied for tier 1+HSMP ILR 5 year SET O on 2nd October 2012. Had biometrics done on dec 20th.
Waited patiently and didn't even contact home office. Finally got my ILR approval letter and my original docs returned. Missed the BPR courier yesterday so have arranged for rede livery on Monday. Thanks to all the helpful members here and wishing good luck to all that are waiting.
Thanks,
