Work dates on the COS is not letting me go to the next page

Post by maylmi12 » Mon May 20, 2013 12:09 pm

Hi,

my sponsor put all details on the cos online to issue a certificate.
But it is not letting us go to the next page to save and pay.

It keeps saying, "please enter work dates" when we already have.
We entered it as 1st April 2013- 31 March 2016

Can you please help?

Thank you for your reply.
But my contract on paper is 1st April 2013- 31 March 2016

Can we put on the cos say, 1st June 2013-31 March 2016 then? is that allowed?

When the HR fills the information regarding the contract starting date, he/she must put the date in the future, i.e. if the HR is filling the information today 20/05/2013, the earliest starting date for your employment should be 21/05/2013 and the latest is 19/08/2013.

So the answer to your question is yes, it is allowed to put 01/06/2013 as a starting date and any date in the future for the ending date.

But what if you are already working for the company..?
I have been with my company for almost a year now.
Does it not matter when you enter your start date as?

my current PSW expires end of OCTOBER

The starting date refers to the date when your employer starts sponsoring you.

If you want to be %100 sure then just ask your employer to give you a new contract with the new starting date so it matches to the starting date in your cos.

one more questions..
for the bank statement and to confirm balance,
Lloyds tsb gave me a bank balance paper signed but it did not printout with the LOGO. so they stamped it with their Lloyds stamp dated.

is that ok ..? or do I need to get another one with the logo printed

You need to have printed bank statements signed and stamped in each page for the last 3 months.

Thank you for the reply.

Also, on the cos online there is a field that says "clients job summary"
it is not ticked as mandatory to select, can you leave it or is it recommended that you select yes and get your employer to write a summary of your job?
