Sadly as this thread has disappeared on to page 6 or 7 not many people are complaining.
If this is the case then so be it and nothing will change. Dozens or hundreds of complaints will get action but a few here or there will be seen as 'normal'.
95% processed within six months is clearly now a target and as such nothing will improve.
Once again i ask everyone who is dissatisfied with the service should complain and keep complaining until something gets done.
Just because you are so relieved to get that ILR stamp does not mean you should forget about it all. There are many applicants to come and they will face the same unacceptable delays until people start standing up for fair treatment.
My letter is just that, it is mine. Feel free to use it but please post your letters and suggestions.
If you don't complain the UKBA consider you a satisfied customer!!
True that BobRussell, I am trying to reach out on the same and drum up some attention to UKBA's poor services-mine was related premium application service although they claim sameday did not happen that way.
I am making noise regardless on outcome of my application.

Waiting to see what they, If anyone has questions regarding the service(not application) please reply . There should surely be some accountability?

No answers received by the MP or me!
Only three weeks so I should not be surprised. It is normal for businesses to send a 'holding' letter soon after receiving any complaint. The UKBA cannot even do that!
Next step will be to complain to the Chief Inspector of the UKBA.
So many are saying the UKBA is not fit for purpose but not much on improving the situation.
I love the little touch of dating visas two or three weeks earlier than passports are returned. Nice way of falsifying/massaging the statistics. If you cannot meet targets make up your own rules!

Friends,

Can we all CC to Sky News , BBC News and News papers like Evening Standard (seems they are making lot of things happening).

I am not sure if there is any legal issues attached to this , but MEDIA will be the best possible bet for such things.

I have been trying to search on the internet whether one can take UKBA to court when his passport is unduly delayed but there seem not to be any law to support that. Unless there is a court case, I can assure you that any letter or complaint will be ignored.
You can complain to Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman once the complaints procedure via the UKBA has been exhausted!

HI Bob,

How you know that mp send the letter which you posted here. secondly do we have to complain to UKBA first before going to Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman ?

Surely people on this board already understand the reasons behind such poor levels service.

The media could not care less about the plight of immigrant whilst paying lip service to the positive influence of immigration. just take a look at the GB team.

Not too long ago mr Cameron was matching with Gurkhas, but this only matters for political point scoring.

whilst this behaviour continues and the people that matter continue to turn a blind eye this country will not move forward.
