Dependent on Tier 2 Employer Sponsorship

Post by tier2_applicant » Tue May 14, 2013 11:59 am

Hi All,

I am working in UK on a Employer Sponsored visa (with Biometric card) which was issued in January 2012 and is valid till January 2015. Prior to that I was on a PSW visa since coming to UK in September 2008

I am now planning to get married later this year and wanted some guidance as to how can my wife (Indian Citizen) join me on my Employer Sponsored visa as a dependent. Is this allowed ? If yes, does she need to have some minimum qualification ? What will be the kind of paper work involved?

I will really appreciate some guidance in this matter.

Thanks

Thanks you. That makes it much clearer.

So, I require to file my partner's application from their country of residence but most of the documentation required will be concerning me - bank statements to show my funds and my proof of stay here and how I can support my partner joining me in the UK.

Is this correct ?
