Referees query

Hi,

we are planning to apply for naturliastion.

One of the referee is Manager of limited company and other one is sofware engg.

can we use them as refree for both AN and MN1 application

as for MN1 application it states

One referee should be a professional who has engaged with the child in a professional
capacity, such as a teacher, health visitor, social worker or minister of religion.


we have checked with health visitor and gp they said they no longer provide references.

Please advise.

The home office gudiance says they have to be gp/teacher for child

will this be issue if we dont have those referees?

No it should be ok according to the FAQ sticker please read under children.

I am not sure what you mean, the child born abroad would apply under section 3(1) and the child born in the uk under section 1(3), assuming you were not settled (or the other parent) when the child in the UK was born and that you are (or the other parent) settled/British now?

They would state their profession.

Hi,

For any referee be it for AN1 or MN1 application, is there a requirement for the british passport holder where his passport should have been issued more than 3 years.

My friend recently got British Passport and willing to provide referee. Is that ok under the british passport holder category.

It doesn't matter how long they have had a passport.
