council tax for ILR application

something else i need to know...when i would be applying for ILR do i need to provide evidence of council tax that i have paid...

is it mandatory...coz currently i am living in the shared accommodation and the council tax is included in the rent....

does the council tax need to be in my name ....

not sure, have you checked ILR form? what does it say? i dont think council tax is big issue as long as someone is paying for it during your stay.

yes i did went thru the indefinite form...there isnt anything mentioned there but i remember going thru a post here on this forum and someone said something about council tax...

you can get best answer by phoning to your local council, and explain your situation... they will tell you clear answer...

I know my friend including council tax when he applied. Bit not sure

Council Tax bills are only required if you are applying for ILR with your wife/partner to prove you both were living together
