ILR (Life in Uk Test)

Post by s_nagul » Fri May 24, 2013 9:59 pm

Hi,
Since the rules are changing for english language requirement from Oct'13 for ILR, If I pass my life in uk test now, will it be still valid as I am due for ILR on 1st of Dec ?

Also my wife who is a graduate but english was her 3rd language, does she need to demonstrate english speaking abilities for application along with life in UK test on 1st Dec?

Thanks,
Shaik

Hi nagul,

I don't think if anyone will know what the new rules will say but if I was you, I would take it now before it changes and you may be asked to take it again if a time laps is introduce along the new rule otherwise I think you will be safe if taken now (is about sacrifices). Your wife will have to take it more than 18 years of age.
