UK born kid (FLR) and Parents on ILR, Can kid travel?

Post by T1_Mainframe » Fri May 24, 2013 4:32 pm

Hi all,

I did try to search this forum for my question. However, I could not find the answer.

Initial Visa Category - Tier 1 (General)

Once parents have ILR, can UK born kid who is on Tier 1 (G) dependent visa travel back from India on valid FLR?

Thanks,
T1_MF

Yes and once the child returns s(he) can consider an application for registration as a British Citizen under section 1(3) of the 1981 Act.

Typing on your mobile?

I guess you meant section 1(3) of the 1981 act.

The child as born in the UK could register as a British Citizen abroad, once either parent has ILR and thus could travel back on a British Passport if desired see the section: Children in http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=95747
