Visitor Visa for India

Hi,

We are currently in middle of applying for BC for my wife. We have a travel plan in next few months. Provided she got the BC , plan is to apply for British passport and then Visitor visa for India (as OCI will take too long). Wife is planning to stay for about 6 months. (I am BC with British passport and OCI).

Does anyone knows if there will be any issue getting Visitor visa. I.e. chances of decline?

Should be fine. She needs to surrender the passport prior to the visitor visa application. Is she wishes can even apply for OCI during her stay in India.
