yes... Its just surname is creating problem.. i've used name without surname in my ILR application that was my mistake....Ayyubi72 wrote:I wonder how this could be.
I mean your mother has a name like everyone else, but on your passport you decide to use some other name for your mother?
Or is it just the difference of spelling or first name and surname in different order?

I'm just completing my first british passport application and got stuck...
My mother's name is different in my indian passport than what i have gaven in my ILR application and what is in her indian passport. - if you are applying for your first passport, I am assuming you have already applied for Naturalisation. If so, you need to complete the passport form with the name that appears on your naturalisation certificate.
Its very confusing for me which name should I use...
options
1. From my indian passport...which I am sending with Passport application.
Issue= But I have used different name in my ILR application?
2. Used same name as I used in ILR application.
Iussue- This name will not match with my indian passport?
3. Used her actual name from my mother's Indian passport and ignore my passport name.
issues- this will not match with my indian passport and my prevouse ILR application.
Can any one help and advise which one is logical and safe.
Do british passport have mother's and father's name on it. No they do not
***Please note= Only surname is creating this problems, first name and second name is same for all the documents.
thanks
mrite
