Tier 2 ICT to General - Salary

Hi Manci,

I am in Currently in Tier 2 ICT and is eligible for Tier 2 General. I have a sponsor who has provided me COS. My question is that the salary he is offering is 50% less than my current salary. The advertisement is for salary of 30,600 which is 50% less than my current salary. I do not mind joining the company with less salary but would like to know if salary being so less will be an issue when i go for my visa interview. Please help.

You need to check which SOC code your job comes under. And then check corresponding minimum salary requirement.
