Query regarding appointment date

Post by dk2011 » Tue Jun 04, 2013 4:46 pm

Hi,
I have booked PEO appointment on 15th july which is after 4 years, 11 months and 9 days since I first came to UK (06/AUG/2008 on which my application is based) . I’m applying before the completion of 5 years but within the 28 days window. However my VISA is valid until 2015. Hope that isn’t a concern?
Thanks

If your 1st entry was within 3 months of getting visa then you can apply 28 days before of the ILR eligibility time (5th anniversary).
Please donot send PM. Write in open forum to facilitate others too.

Thanks Sheraz .
I'm not counting from entry clerrance date . I’m counting from actual entry date which is 06/aug/2008. From actual entry date also I can apply within 28 days window of fifth anniversay ?
Also , my VISA is valid until 2015 ,so, nothing like I can apply only after 5 years as VISA is there until 2015 ?

My EC date (Valid from) was 28/Jul/2008 which is of course well within the 90 days window.
However , i thought if you entry date is within 90 days of EC date then those dates can't be counted as absence and you can apply upto 28 days before 5th anniversary of EC date.

I'm applying 21 days before fifth anniversary from entry date (06/08/2008),so , additionally my entry should be within 90 days of EC date ?
