Passport waiting times??

Post by CitationCj2 » Wed Jun 05, 2013 3:13 pm

Gday all,

How long does it take for the first time applicants?

I sent my passport express form over 10days now, still showing as application has been received and registred and no further updates?

I tought the 10 day was the limit?

Share your experiences please..

thanks cj

Mine did show as received after 2 days and I got it within 10 days. But it was in March ... they might get a lot of applications right now just when the holiday time is starting and also just after a citizenship ceremony.

Yes it is. You have to go to the passport office in person and explain to them your situation. They can produce a passport a little as 2 days but they will have to charge you extra for it. Hope that helps.
