hi ya,

I applied for entrepreneur visa and my wife is dependant iam still waiting for decision from UKBA
recently we had baby and we want to apply for passport(India)
as i gone through cgibirmingham site documents they require is

birth certificate which we got it
passports and visa pages photocopy and also they need originals as well of parents
as our passports are with UKBA we cannot produce them so can we use our UKBA acknowledgement letter ?
i have tried to contact consulate general of india(birmingham) through phone
but no one answers the call i also emailed them explaning my situation i got no reply
can anyone help in this issue please

Silly question - but why do you need to apply for the passport now?

If your wife and your passports are with UKBA - you aren't going anywhere, so presumably neither is the baby!

I'd just wait!

thanx for reply we would wait no problem but if our visa gets rejected we need to leave this country normally it takes 3 weeks to get baby passport so we need to wait for three weeks without visa in U.K

That's fine - there's a 28 day grace period if refusal occurs.

my visa got rejected and passports are retained by UKBA dono how to apply baby indian passport without our passport

reason was my name missing on advertisement it was tier 1 (entrepreneur visa)
