I gather you are making a set(m) application. There are no set limits for absences and each case will be judged on its own merits. If the absence was limited and for compelling reasons i.e. employment, family emergency, to give birth.... it shouldn't prove disastrous.

Its for about a year. and not for employment, family emergency, to give birth.... etc.

Each case will be based on its own merits. 12 months for a holiday, well is that limited and for a valid reason?

If you can provide a cohabitation proof that your spouse was with you for last 2 years that may help.
