Absence from UK for spouse

Post by ric1982 » Mon Jun 10, 2013 9:33 am

Hi,

Does anyone know how long a dependent allowed to have absence from UK for the ILR application?

Thanks,

Thanks,
I gather you are making a set(m) application. There are no set limits for absences and each case will be judged on its own merits. If the absence was limited and for compelling reasons i.e. employment, family emergency, to give birth.... it shouldn't prove disastrous.

Again, each case is judged on its own merits, what was the reason for the absence and how long?

Each case will be based on its own merits. 12 months for a holiday, well is that limited and for a valid reason?

If you can provide a cohabitation proof that your spouse was with you for last 2 years that may help.
