Well as per your information given there might be 3 batches taking oath on the same day. One at 9.am batch second at 11.25 am and the 3rd at 1.15 pm. Around 3000 people might attend this time then.

Seems like up to 4,000 people will be attending the ceremony which is great!
I will also point out that there is little or no backlogs!

I received an orange/pink invitation letter last Friday... for 11:05am

Application Applied : 29 June 2012 (5 years residency stamp 4)
Acknowledgment: 13 July 2012
Letter of approval: 24 May 2013
Documents submitted: 27 May 2013
Invitation letter : 07 June 2013
Ceremony: 4th July 2013

The letter did mention 1,000 people will be attending the ceremony, though due to the number of times slots for the day (9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm etc) I think there could be 1,000 people per ceremony time slot. This means there could be well over 5,000-7,000 people becoming citizens on 4th July!

I think a big citizenship ceremony is plausible as it'd be a huge marketing tool for Ireland especially as it's the 4th July and the year of The Gathering. What a way to advertise Ireland to the world!

Having said that, I think the Minister is re-advertising himself after this last incident against him to resign. He is a Minister for reform and the best Minister of J&E as far as im concerned.
