I think once u have ur ILR, you then need to apply for ur Mrs ILR separately, she will then be required to live here for 5 years before she can apply for indefinite leave.

Here it is

go to this link

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/polic ... 1migrants/

you need to read 319E(d)(ii)

the specified period is 5 years, during which the applicant must:

have been in a relationship with the same Relevant Points Based System Migrant for this entire period,

Please read 319E in full and you will understand what apply on you wife

I hope this will make things clear for you

If you need more explanation then you are most welcome to ask

Is there any reason for your continued preference for FLR(M) over PBS dependant?

Agree with this, FLR(M) locks her into another 5 years and more strenuous checks and requirements, I'd avoid that personally tbh.

@vinny

Thank you so much for directing me into this page. I am sure this has more information.

I tried to browse UKBA site and I felt that FLR (M) might be the right visa based on below link. Could you kindly direct me to UKBA page that says my brother can also apply for PBS DEPENDANT once he receive his ILR. I don't see anywhere that says we can apply for PBS dependant.

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... ing-in-uk/

Many Thanks
