Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

Alhamdulillah my wife’s visa was granted.. it took 3 months (13 weeks) submitted on 07/03/13 and was ready for collection on 10/06/13.. i hope everyone who is waiting for their visa get it very soon.. I know how difficult this time is.

Just a few points I want to highlight which had me worried over the last 3 months. On this forum there are requirements that have been mentioned which I didn’t include which users are emphasising as a must.. if I had come across this forum earlier I would most likely have included them but had got to the point of no return...

These include:-

Evidence of communication with your spouse. In the application we didn’t provide any phone bills, emails or skype chat.. I don’t know if these were not important because we submitted the application 3 weeks after marriage.

Cover letter… both of us didn’t write a cover letter but I did complete a sponsor form SU07/12 and get a solicitor to stamp it along with all supporting documents provided by me.

Supporting documents to be within 28 days of application. This did have me worried because i flew out to Pakistan at the end of Jan and took all my paperwork with me my last Wage slip was end of Jan and bank Statements also up to the end of Jan. the application was submitted on 07/03/13 leaving all documents being outside of the 28days. Alhamdulillah this wasn’t an issue.

and another thing is , its better to play it safe ( follow 28 days policy etc etc ) , cz u never know what kind of ECO u are going to get !! ( just like how you dont know what kind of driving instructor you going to get when booking your driving test )

some excellent cases get refused , and some normal cases go thru just like that ... so it all really depends on the individual whose processing your file .... and off course in this Allahs will is included too and luck !!

Its taking just over 3 months now 13/14weeks. mine took 65 working days (ex weekends and bank hols)

I submitted my documents at Islamabad on:-

Date of Application: 20/3/2013
Under process at BHC: 04/04/2013
RFC ?

My question is as follows:-

1. Has anyone else submitted their documents around my date 0f application (March 2013) and if so, have you heard of your rfc (outcome) as yet?

2. How long do you think i am likely to wait as it has been 59 days for me..

Hey guys these are our dates:
Application: 25th March 2013
Under process: 9th April 2013
Rfc: still waiting...

Looks like dates for March applications are taking about 12-13weeks.

Someone from teh date as urself heard on another forum although i cant rememebr where she applied...am sure it wasnt Lahore tho
