Proof of 12 Months Full Time Work

Dear Moderators,

I am applying for my HSMP. The only section I am stuck on is the Previous Earnings.

-I am a US citizen who finished university in May 2006.
-I started full time work on May 15, 2006 until August 4, 2006
-I moved to the UK and started a temp job as soon as I got here on August 21, 2006. I temped until September 15, 2006.
-On September 18, 2006 I started full time with a UK patent law firm where I am still employed.

Question:

With my temp work I am approaching 12 months worth of full time work experience. The only way I can prove my temping experience is pay slips and a letter from the employer who paid me (my wages were paid by check into my boyfriends account because I didn't have a UK bank account).

Does this temp work count towards my 12 months? Because if it does, my salary pro rata will put me in the right salary bracket for points.
