Child of Tier 2 dependent

Hi all,

I have tier 2 general visa, my wife is my dependent and she's got a child which is not mine. Is there any chance or visa category(except visitor) under which we can bring the child except me adopting the child?

You mean you are step father? Pls put more details on ur immigration situation.

Yes I am step father and my visa status is Tier 2 General skilled worker and as I said my wife is dependent on me. Anything else? is There any chance to bring the kid withou adopting?
