2 employments for 5 years

Hi all,

I am applying for the ILR in July and am on the old work permit category.

During these 5 years, I had one previous employment(6 months) - so do I need to mention about my previous employment in a covering letter and should I need to provide any supporting documents for this period? Since my current employer letter won't cover for first 6 months.
