Hello members,
I have been in UK for about 3 years now.
Do you know any body on hsmp who has got a mortgage to buy house in UK.

I got the mortgage when I was on WP....

I have only been in the UK for about 10 months. I spoke with a mortgage broker last week, and he said that they could easily get me a mortgage with 5% down, at the standard rates. You should be okay. There are other topics in the forum as well, where people have written their experiences on getting a mortgage. You should be able to find more info if you search for it in the HSMP forum. This is my third year on HSMP, got a mortgage from Halifax with 3% down payment.
