Issue with "Sponsor willing to certify maintenance for

Post by usmanakram_86 » Fri Jun 21, 2013 7:23 pm

Hi,
Actually I'm working with this Company from last 1.5 years and currently I have PSW which expired after 14-May-2014

Now I'm trying to Apply for Tier 1 (General)

My Employer got COS and Now I have all the required items like Sponsor Licence Number, Certificate Number etc.

My Employer has answered YES to
"Tick to Confirm the sponsor certifies maintenance for migrant."

in SMS (Sponsorship Management System)

BUT, from starting of my JOB, they are not providing any maintenance. and they select YES to this question by Mistake.

Now is it possible to change it to NO?

Because I have enough fund to declare as FUND maintenance by myself.
and in the Application form in the Section M
"M5. Is your sponsor willing to certify maintenance for you on your Certificate of Sponsorship?"

If I said Yes, then I don't have to complete Section O "Which is Related to Fund Maintenance"

But I want to answer No for this "M5." Question, because I have enough Fund to declare for this Visa.

Please guide me what should I do?

So,
Now is it possible to change it to NO?

- Does it effect anything?
- Does it effect the certificate?
- or any extra fee required?

Hi if your employer has certified that only means its a undertaking that they ll provide maintenance u don't ve to prove maintenance. Only thing I can suggest is sending your bank statements if u really want to show ur funds.
But it ll be fine if u don't

So, it means
- my employer have to attach some financial document with my visa application?

- and I have to send my Payslips with my visa Application?

do I have to send the above documents???

Hi Ali,

Well I'm also confused with the Documents, But so far I have created a checklist of following documents

- Passport
- Two Photographs (Passport size, with name on Back)
- Biometric Resident Permit Card
- Birth Certificate
- Bank Statement (either Current or Saving Account it doesn't matter , in total you must have £900 at least in last three months)
- IELTS Result Card
- Master's Degree + Transcript

- Payslips (I'm not sure about this, So is there anyone who can guide us regarding to this?)

- Do our Employer have to attach any financial document?, to prove for the Maintenance Fund ??[/list]

Yes u need to send payslips and u don't need any documents from your employer for maintenance they ll tick it in cos, if u r concerned attach your bank statements as additional proof and mention it as additional docs
Once the sponsor tick that in cos you are good to go.

Ok thats great.
BUT
How many payslips should I send?

I am working for this company since July-2011.

So, how many payslips should I attach with this visa application?

If your sponsor is certifying maintenance you don't have to send any financial documents unless it's for dependants (spouse / children). That's the whole point of a sponsor certifying maintenance.

You do not need to submit your payslip if are transferring from PSW ti T1. Read the following page

Number 52 onward
