Congrats to all the applicants who received their decisions...my only Q would be how the hell do case workers work??
I would love to shadow them and see how they work..

Huge descrepency in dealing with applications, people waiting from March, and people approved from June.

I dont believe its related to checks
Only UKBA knows the answer

I am on the same boat. I wrote to them recently and sent it by post and as a result I received an email reply that my case is ongoing and they didn't say anything else. You can write a letter to them by post. I don't know honestly why they are holding my case. Everyone in May who applied hoto 20th may got approved but I think my case have issue otherwise why everyone got it and my case is ongoing.

Thank you all for your help.
One tip for those wanting to get a quicker appointment with NCS. The UKBA NCS pages shows Greater London and England in seperate links. Greater London NCS options are generally busy and the waiting time is usually 2 or 3 weeks. Look for places close to you in England option. For example, for East Londoners try Epping, Colchester or Chelmsford you will get an appointment without much waiting time.

Am hoping Postal is quicker than NCS in hope they want to return my Passport quicker with approval letter enclosed so they can save money by simply using my self address envelope :?

My approval letter came in my self addressed envelope along with my Passports. It's taken 8 working days from fee being taken.

Best Wishes everyone I think they have extra staff for the summer so hopefully everyone gets good news very soon :)

Approval - My journey

Post by God's Favour » Mon Jun 24, 2013 8:23 pm

5years EEA residence and marraige to an Irish & British nation
Applied - May 7
Acknowledged - May 11
Approved June 6
Ceremony - June 21

Now tbh I feel this was superfast but give glory to God, I still feel numb, but grateful as this is well over-due and my story was long dating back from early 1998 when I was still 15. Please don't stop dreaming. My prayer is that I would use this for bigger and better things - Amen. So I pray for those who are still waiting receive your APPROVALS in Jesus name.
