Tier 2 General Visa Documents list

Hi,

Currently I'm on PSW visa, and now im applying for Tier 2 (General).

Which Documents we have to attach with Visa Application (By Post) if my Employer certifies for the Maintenance for me in SMS (Sponsorship Migration System).


Can anyone please list the Documents Required for Tier 2 (General) Visa?

You need the following
passport
2 photos
Brp card if any
Payslips atleast 1 to prove u r being paid the appropriate rate
If sponsor certifies then bank statements else ursfor maintenance proof
Degree for English requirements
Cos make sure it's matching your job description and is paid at the appropriate rate plus is more than 20300
If married u need additional doc to prove cohabitation
Marriage certi
Photos not mandatory
Birth certi if kids

Is it necessary to have a copy of the CoS which has the ref no. , the one printed off online from the SMS ?

Hello,

Do you know if a marriage certificate and a birth certificate required during tier 2 application if I am applying by myself? My spouse and child are already UK citizens (residing with me overseas).
