After you get your visa

Post by kitkat007 » Tue Jun 11, 2013 11:17 am

Hi guys,

Can one work in another role apart from the role stated in the business started? Say for example, the business you used in applying for the Entrepreneur visa was as a management consultant. Can one work say for example as a customer service adviser?

2. Has anyone being able to start work with any company using this visa?

Many thanks in advance for your contribution

No that is not entirely correct .
If you have applied via PSW route than your work must be > NFQ level 4.
If not then you can do what ever you want but as rahulsingh1 said, it must not be a permanent job in any other company.
Cheers

@ Legal83
BEING director of ur company, u can work for ur company and u along with other ppl cud be on ur company payroll. wages paid out to ppl other than u will be counted towards investment, any money(in wages form) paid towards isnt an investment. u can take money out a dividend.

@ Darvesh...do you mind please expantiating on your comment 'BEING director of ur company, u can work for ur company and u along with other ppl cud be on ur company payroll. wages paid out to ppl other than u will be counted towards investment, any money(in wages form) paid towards isnt an investment. u can take money out a dividend'

So does this mean that if I employ 2 people and pay them, that counts towards investing in my business?

@kitkat007
yes wages paid out to staff(other than yourself) will be counted towards ur company expense and hence an investment.

If the company main activity is not at graduate level then you cannot be on the payroll of that company even if you are director or shareholder of that company.
