Hi Experts

Please advise


Tier 1 visa issued from Chennai - 21 JUL 2008
Arrived in UK- 12 SEP 2008

Holidays taken so far - 178 days out of which 20 days unpaid

Can i qualify for ILR i am confused some say yes and some say no .

Please advise your answers are much appreciated.

can you please elaborate more?
what are the reasons given by some who says you cant eligible for ILR?

Hello Sir

Because i came late to UK after getting my visa so they are saying
that will also count as part of my holiday .

I have been advised that if my holidays out of UK is more than 180 days in
a 5 year period i am not eligible for ILR .
