Length of Stay Outside UK Allowed on HSMP

Hi All,

I am pretty sure there would be alot of discussions and references regarding length of time allowed to stay outside UK both for the primary and dependent.

Could anyone direct me to the discussion on this topic on the board or to government web site to get concrete information.

It was 6 months, of which no period could be longer than 3 months. However, this was when you could get ILR after 4 years. Does anyone know if this has been adjusted to take account of the new 5 year rule?
