The letter will be for additional information, then package follows.
Did they send you a letter in the post?
No hun its like I saw someone on this forum states that they received a notice of decision letter and then their documents came after. But apparently I heard homeoffice is dealing with oct/nov applicants I don't know how true it is though. Which I have been seeing quiet a few october applicants getting back their documents. So fingers cross I heard something nextweek.
October/november?! Fingers crossed its true!!!

I read on a forum that ukba not meant to tell u if your application as been allocated a caseworker and they only meant to tell you that your application is complete when they post the package not when the package is awaiting postage, so if I rang and my application is awaiting postage they will still tell me that its still not complete yet smh, that how complicated homeoffice is. So people its just waste of time calling them because you will hear the same ting over and over again, still not complete, blah blah blah.

Wow! That was a fast response for biometrics request. What kind of payment did you use if you don't mind my asking?

I reckon so too! So many people phoned and been given no useful info whatsoever.
I tried to find non-geographical alternative number on 'Say NO To 0870' and there isnt one.... So I wont be paying £1 per minute or whatever it is they charge just to get some lame response

This is none sense. The ukba is dealing with applications randomly. There is such thing as " the HO is dealing with october applicants"
Proof: many people on this forum applied ln different dates: january, feb, march, april and they got a response in two months approximately.
God bless every one.

I spoke to a lady last week she said the same to me "waiting to be allocated to a case working team"...she also said the customer service team is in Croydon ie 0870 number where we contact HO ,,Whereas our files are at Sheffield with case working team..until the file moves to next level or a decision is made the status remains more or less the same on the computer....so it does not really matter if they say case is with worker/ case working team....

Hun,I rang ukba on the 18th june the lady told me that my case is allocated to a caseworker, on the 17th june ukba wrote my mp and states they can confirm my case is awaiting consideration by the sheffield casework team, ukba are liars and I reckon they lie to the mp's aswel.

This girl rang the homeoffice and spoke to a lady they told her,her case is with a caseworker, then she rang back couple days after they told her application is still not complete, then she rang again and they told her application is complete and gave her a tracking number, when she tried the tracking number it wasn't working, she rang back and spoke to another lady, the lady told her application is still not complete the girl states that she rang before and they gave her a tracking number but it isn't working the lady was so upset and states that ukba staff not meant to tell u anything until the package as been posted. So as u can c its all lies whenever we calls they told us the same thing not complete, even if its complete but hasn't post yet they still gona say not complete.
That's why we somtimes read about other people who rang ukba for updates and were told not complete but the next day documents arrives.

Well cool, that's what I intend to do. Am going to apply on the basis of a child. Can you tell me how you got past the English language requirement, is it compulsory to have the test done? Please help! Thanks in advance.

I actually called last week and had the same reponse. The lady was utterly nice though as she sounded hesitant when responding like she wanted to say more. So I think I do agree with @sanny26 cos in as much as "some" wanna help, they can't.
Lets keep fingers crossed cos all that is coming outta that unit is nothing but good news.
