I have Emailed them last week and after 3 days a reply came back stating (The only information available to me is that your application has been received and is currently being processed- I cannot advise when you are likely to receive a decision)GD78 wrote:Fiqbal and ya75khan...hang in there guys.
Maybe send them an email: NationalityProgress@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
Ask them if they have sent any letters to your home other than an acknowledgement letter or if the application is still in progress.
Make sure to give your home office ref number from the acknowledgement letter, full name, date of birth, address, and nationality.
Hopefully they will reply after the automated reply. They replied in about 3 days to my email.
Congratulations. Yours took 3 months. As I am also from one of the sub continent country so I think mine will also take 3 months to decide. As I am pretty sure now some case like mine taking ages due to current nationality. Peoples who is waiting long l am sure in majority case a caseworker didnt even look the file ...I mean awaiting for caseworker or just recently allocated for caseworker. I dont know what kind of que they follow. It seems like their que classifications depends on the nationality and length of time person living uk.More longer time anyone is here, they need to stand up right behind the que at the end on a special long wait que.miyazi78 wrote:long residence + 1 year ILR

Ho replied me by email a caseworker not allocated for me yet. And existing nationality does matter. Long residency including british spouse does take longer to decide. It doesnteven take 1 week for them to decide uunless they check extra check. But no one check anything before a case allocated for caseworker. I am sure people who waiting 2-6 months will get approval or decision as long ho allocate a caseworker for them.Kennavarro wrote:That is somewhat not true mine was long residence and 1 yr IRL...and l have already my British Passport in my hands.
Simple is better if you send less documents ie don't send things you not required bills etc and make a simple application then make sure they will get their money instantly and also check you have no niggles that is you have no criminal record that is undeclared and double check or triple check your application make sure it is correctly filled before you submit it.
In summary straight forward applications that include the all above usually are processed faster regardless of type then complex ones or complicated ones will take longer but there is that one in 100 straight forward application that slips through the net and has to wait unnecessarily as the complex ones.
