No Recourse to public funds and Discounted Rental Scheme

Post by ameyapranav » Wed Jul 03, 2013 9:52 pm

I am on Tier-1 General visa with "No recourse to public funds". I would like to rent a flat which is on Discounted Renal Scheme from a housing association which is "Genesis Housing" via applying at https://www.sharetobuy.com/. On their website they say that the rent is 20% lower than market as its subsidised as they receive funding.

My question is that in above situation, Can I fall under the condition of recourse to public fund or am I fine?

I do not want to get into trouble at the time of my ILR which is due in 2015.

Thanks in advance for your time answering my queries.

Regards,

Ameya Pranav

You can enter into an agreement with the hosing association providing you were not referred by the local authority.
