Tier 4 to tier 1 waiting for 7 months

I have applied for tier 1 entrepreneur visa on 12/12/2012.
Enrolled for biometrics 21/03/2013.
Its almost 7 months now no reply from ukba.Now i need my passport back urgent due to my family problems back in pakistan.I need to visit my parents.Can anyone advise what to do in this situation to get any response quickly.And is there anyone else still waiting from last december pls share .

Hi EXTO ,

i am in the situation same like you , i applied in late October bio late November , from tier 4 to tier and then standerd letter about the rules changes received in march after that no news.....

All you can do is to withdraw your application which will take around 3-4 weeks.

I'm afraid there is nothing much you can do to make your application process faster.

I have just called ukba the lady said application still in process.And she cant tell how long it will take to get decision.

10. Payment Mode: Debit card
11. Acknowledgement letter received: 08th Aug 2012
12. Biometric letter received: 23rd Aug 2012
13. Date of biometrics enrolment: 28th Aug 2012
14. Interview call: No
15. Further/additional documents requested by UKBA: Yes
16. Date of approval: 04th June 2013
17. Date of return of passport and other documents: 07th June 2013
18. Date (new) leave to remain valid from: 04th June 2013
19. Date BRP received: 10th June 2013
20. Return Prepaid Special Delivery Envelope: Yes

Waiting time almost 11 Months. Best of luck to people still waiting.
