Tier 2 General - Dependent Visa - Company maintenance letter

Hi,

I am in Tier-2 General company sponsored visa and I want to process my wife's dependent visa through my current company. My wife currently in India. As far as the information I have for processing a dependent visa through company below documents would be needed.

• a certified copy of my passport and visa,
• my original marriage certificate
• a maintenance letter from my company.

I would like to know what should the maintenance letter contain. Any pre-existing template would be helpful. Please add any documents if I have missed.

what do you mean by certified copy of ur pass port...?

Certified copy means the passport & visa photocopy has to be attested by an solicitor or notary to prove that it is an true copy of the original.

Do you have any other information like what other documents we should carry apart from below,

Maintenance letter
Photocopy of passport, visa, exit and entry to country
Marriage Certificate (English version)
Marriage photos

If your applying via your company, could you please check with your company and confirm back, as my company doesn't have more information on this.

I just want to know is that necessary to take certified copy of your passport from a soliciatator? for india?
if so tell me how i can do it in india..? because in rule they have just given a copy and visa of the husband's passport....
on the other side the documents are sufficient ..consider filling up the form VAF 10 and ask your wife to carry it ...if they ask then ask her to give it.....

i think maintanence letter + passport (original wife) + passport copy (husband) + marriage certificate (original) + fotos ...enough..
if you have a CoS (for Tier 2) then you can give her the document (copy is enough)
