H Guys I need to submit spouse visa for my wife this week,
She has been to UK (under Tier 1 general dependent) and stayed here for over a year in 2010 and 2011 , would that help her get her Visa quickly ?

could it just be that the delay meaning going over 60 days is because perhaps on day 60 the files r coming back from Dubai meaning 2/3 days... and then they r jus lazy opening them in Islamabad... Karachi and Lahore n mirpur files have to b sent back to them im assuming that's about a day or 2... and then jus a matter of them opening files and sending the txt or updating...?? I reckon its pure laziness and they r not sending the txt or updating system...

I think ukba r probably correct in stating decisions r made within 60 days... jus when they r sent bak 2 pak there must b delays because as sumbody says... r they to take applications or giv back files...

still no xcuse tho.. the do need 2 speed up their process and get some order in place

People in Pakistan are lazy too thy prob just leave those files until thy can't bothered while all of us guys are eagerly waiting for replies only of ppl could do their job properly even bhc should work faster rather then jut sitting and doing nothing

They should have some system for this ad at least send regular updates on each case

Dear Sir/Madam ,

Thank you for your email.

We have checked your application status which is still under process at the British High Commission. We do realize your concern. Kindly note that we at Gerry’s have no access to any visa applications process time and duration .They are assessed individually and process time may vary from applicant to applicant. We will only be able to arrange collection when we are in possession of the passport. You may also send your email directly to visaenquiries.islamabad@fco.gov.uk for further assistance on this.

As per UKBA currently Delays in making decisions on applications to live permanently in the UK (‘settlement applications’). Our global customer service standard for settlement applications is to make decisions on most applications within 12 weeks and all applications within 24 weeks. Please note that due to a significant increase in the number of applications being received, we are currently experiencing a delay in making decisions on settlement applications. We are still making decisions on most applications within 12 weeks, but many applications are taking longer to resolve, which means that it may take up to 24 weeks for a decision to be made. We are working hard to minimize the impact on customers, and apologies for any inconvenience.

We appreciate your understanding and trust in our services

Thats the reply i got :( what can i say to them that i dont get a standard reply??

Sister ARSUM, nothing is sent to Dubai anymore as everything is dealt with BHC in Pakistan. There are only 200 ECO in Islambad BHC. I do understand that they take there time, please be rest assured, I promise you that you will hear before 6 Sept 2013 (mark my words sister). My vision tells me it's either 28 August or on 6 Sept. Indeed I hope it's much before that though :)

Please whoever reads this, pray for sister ARSUM quick response, ameen :)

Hi Guys
For English Language requirements we will submit (for spouse visa) Degree taught in English, a letter from University stating the Degree was taught in English and a UK NARIC comparability statement, would that be sufficient ?
