HOW LONG DOES IT NORMALLY TAKE TO GET PAYE?

hello My boss is willing to support me for my visa.
but i have been working for him as a freelancer. so my boss want to apply for PAYE. and i just overheard it normally takes sometime.
is there anyone who know how long it takes ?

it usually takes 5-10 days but at the most 21 calendar days as specified by HMRC
