all people on this thread are Pakistanis and i am sure they do not know how applications are handled in Ghana , directly by UKBA or through a commercial partner.

in Pakistan people do not recieve an email for collection of passport ,

they receive a call or text message

also in Pakistan the commercial partner is Gerry , UKBA have different commercial partners in different countries , all have different ways of handling cases ...

some commercial partners send email informing of the outcome of the visa.
while others do not have access to opening a passport and informing clients.

If you had posted in general thread , i am sure someone from experience from Ghana would give you precise information.

Hey guys,

Hope all is going well.

May I ask has anyone had any sort of reply from BHC in regards to there applications or appeals as I have sent them 3-4 emails 2 weeks ago and not heard anything.

If anyone can advise whom had a response how long did they take.

I hope to hear back soon from you guys.

By the way they do send SMS and email if u have paid for that facilty my husband has paid for it and he gets both alerts

I sent them an email on the 3rd of july and i gt a reply back on the 16th...

But that was regarding my husbands visa application

Cool I sent email 1st July and then 2nd July regarding appeal and no reply as I used all three emails I had.

Totally fed up as looking for other email such as UKBA or Home Office so I can inquire regarding application with them.

Indeed you will get SMS stating your passport is ready for collection which will be followed up by a phone call as that is what happened to my wife!

guys i have got the sms that my passport is ready for collection

I am so happy after 42 working days,i got the status change.

Application submitted on Islamabad VAC=20/05/2013
Application under process at BHC = 03/06/2013
Ready for collection= 18/07/2013
